| So, I decided to do a bit of experimenting with lighting. I am not really looking for cnc as this is simply an experiment. I am more interested in developing technique not so much interested in opinion of what I should or should not do. Anyways... Original Stock:My Experiment: | |

| Actuarially Cheezy its bokeh effect and such to you it looks like a flare but its not. Im not sure how he did it but i know you can do it with brushes set on different Opactiy and layers. The light source could be flare but could easily be drawn or bushed.
Non the less that looks sick but as for the lighting it seems as if its coming from behind him (and if it is there should be more shadows on the inner ear) almost and If it was casting light to the side of his face and front shoulder dont you think it Should be in front or just Above and slightly in front and a bit to the right of the shoulder? Im not sure but it also seems to be casting light on the oposite side of the face to were the light is witch could mean its behind him.
Im not expert but thats just what i think but good job!
I know you weren't asking for a Cnc but dont take this as a Cnc but just as advice (No offence taken if you think im on crack and should shutup!)

It was already underlined, now I highlighted it. Just tell him if you like it or not, your cnc on a project that any of us can't even do would do him no good.

It's ok for being wrong and it is ok to give feedback. One thing to remember though.... Unless you can do better, it is best to not make suggestions you can't produce yourself!
